What is Slacklining?
Slacklining is the art and sport of walking along a low-tension, bouncy, rope-like line typically consisting of a 2.5 to 5 centimeter wide synthetic fiber tape and tension system that can be either be tightened and loosened by using a pulley or rachet. Slacklining can be either the extreme sport of walking on a line high above a canyon or between two structure, and it can also be the entertainment art of performer tricks while balancing on a slackline that can either be high above or low to the ground.
