What is Synchronized Ice Skating?
Synchronized ice skating is a team ice figure skating discipline during which artistic skaters perform complex maneuvers and achieve formations such as blocks, circles, lines, wheels and intersections, all requiring a high level of skill and a perfect level of coordination and synchronization.

Is Ice Synchronized Skating an Olympic Sport?
No, as of 2025 synchronized ice skating is not yet an Olympic sport. Reasons past efforts have been denied have included the low number of competitive teams world wide and the possibly prohibitively high expensive of transporting teams (which can have as many as 20 members) to international events, which could result in a low number participants.
