What is Hardball Hockey?
Hardball hockey was the name formerly used in the United States
for the sport of FIRS and World Skate governed
rink hockey, a form of roller hockey played using
a ball instead of a puck and typically
played wearing quad roller skates.
The United States Roller Sports Federation
(USA Roller Sports) official began referring to
the sport as rink hockey in November of 2008
when the United States Olympic Committee
adopted the more internationally known name for the sport.
