What is a Bobsled?
A bobsled is a type of mechanically steered and braked vehicle with rails for sledding on ice or snow covered slopes or tracks with banked curves.

Is Bobsledding an Olympic Sport?
Yes, the sport of bobsleigh has been included in almost of the Winter Olympics since the inaugural event in 1924. The only time the Winter Olympics did not include bobsledding (or any sledding sports) was 1960 in Squaw Valley when it was determined to be too expensive to build a bobsleigh track when only nine countries planned to compete.
